Associate borrower

Members of the public can join the library as associate borrowers, 4 items in total with 2 renewals per item are permitted, depending on demand. Please note this membership does not include Internet, email or database access.

Associate borrowers are not permitted to borrow the following:

• Videos or DVDs (may be viewed in the library)
• Music CDs
• High demand items (2 hour or 7 day loans)
• Journals (magazines)
• Reference material
• Interlibrary loans
• Language and Literacy collection

Associate borrower membership fees:
6 months $50
12 months $100
Past students and staff: $50 per year

Overdue material – All borrowers of materials from Southbank Institute Libraries are asked to observe the borrowing regulations in place and to pay any charges connected with late, lost or damaged materials. A reminder notice is sent prior to the due date, and clients can renew online, by telephone or at the desk.  If a final notice is received, borrowers have 7 days to return item/s or an invoice will be issued for cost of replacement plus a $33 processing charge per item.
